Meet Jean E. (Jeanne) Stockton
A dedicated resident of San Tan Valley since 2009 and a passionate candidate for Town Council.
Before her years of community service, Jeanne built a distinguished career in the corporate world. She worked as a project manager, process manager, and people manager, leading teams and supporting numerous Fortune 500 companies across the globe. Her expertise extended into contract negotiations, disaster recovery planning, and complex operational coordination—skills that strengthened her reputation as a reliable, strategic, and solutions‑driven leader.
Jeanne was a co-founder of the San Tan Valley Advisory Council and served on its board from its inception until November 2023. She was instrumental in working with Neal Carter to change the incorporation law, giving San Tan Valley residents the opportunity to have a voice and a vote in shaping the future of their community. She currently serves on the Pinal County Citizens Advisory Council and has supported numerous nonprofit organizations over the past 17 years.
Jeanne is more than a dedicated community advocate; she’s a loving mother, grandmother, and loyal friend who genuinely cares about the people and the place we call home. Over the years, she has been deeply involved in local activities—always ready to lend a hand, share a warm smile, or host gatherings that bring neighbors together. She stays informed about community events and consistently takes the initiative to participate and contribute wherever she can.
Community Growth Initiatives
Jeanne is committed to promoting community growth that aligns with San Tan Valley’s long-term plans. Her initiatives focus on sustainable development and enhancing local resources to satisfy the shortfall of services in our community. “The lack of a Chamber of Commerce has allowed other communities to capitalize on our population and capture our disposable income. If we can turn the tide and entice more retail and commercial businesses to locate to the Town of San Tan Valley, we can be as successful as many of our neighboring communities.”
By advocating for responsible growth, Jeanne aims to create a thriving environment for all residents, winter visitors and tourists.
